Shaman the Beast Lord.jpg

DRALNIAN

Polytheistic

Practiced mainly in the land of Khauran and Eadith, this religion is composed of twelve gods. The Khaddorians, the Valekians, and the Elves are the main worshipers. The picture above is a representation of what Shaman, the Beast Lord must have looked like.

THE DRALNIAN GODS

High above the sky, in the realm of stars rests powerful beings made of star dusts. Beings so powerful that they could fold the skyes and destroy their very creation in a glimpse of an eye.

DRALNO

Throne Master

His birth is completely unknown, even to mythology. He rules the Realm of Stars, sitting on the thrones giving orders. He is said to be the creator and the father of all things in this world. From the very Gods beneath him to the smallest flower blooming in Khauran. He is the all mighty, in the Dralnian religion.

AELIA

Goddess of the Hearth & Childbirth

She was the most beautiful of all, the first being ever created by Dralno. Her heart was of gold, her smile would light a thousand souls and she was beautiful. It is said that Dralno saw her as a daughter, as a partner in the Realm of stars. He loved her so much that he created her the most just of all beings, Edorr. He was a being so fair, so honorable, that Dralno even believed his wisdom surpassed his.

To this day, Aelia is the most preached deity in the Dralnian faith. Her symbols are; fireplace, the lotus flower, and the color turquoise (like her eyes).

AHER

God of the Afterlife

Darkness, death, and the end of time itself. Aher is a feared God because he represented what everyone fears the most: the unknown. He is a mysterious God that was always present. Some even believe that he was there before Dralno, which seems plausible to many... But they fear too much a malediction from Dralno to even think of such.

Aher is preached mainly during funerals, plagues, and wars. The only 'race' known to preach Aher on a regular basis is the Dunmas, a subrace of the elves.

His symbols are: darkness and his long cloth that stretches along many galaxies.

AMIR

God of Sleep & Hypnosis

Child of rape, tormented and infatuated with ignorance. He would much rather forget, change his own memories to forget his life. As he grew, he became slightly more powerful but his father, Xablon, was a jealous and very hateful being. He tortured him in every way possible way. Eventually, Amir closed up only to become filled with aggression. It didn't help that his uncle, Vunatis (the God of Violence) would fuel him.

Now, he is semi crazy. Always locked up in the underworld sheltered by Aher, he is rarely preached.

He has one daughter with Ilen, the Goddess of forgiveness and truth. Her name is Edia and she is the Goddess of Oracles.

His symbols are mist and a closed (semi-closed) eye.

DURENA

God of Medicine

Durena is not actually a God, but rather a demigod. He is the offspring of Velik and Korhain, an Avariel long dead. He was quite lonely as a child. After all, he's biological father was long ago gone and he outlived. He was immortal, Dralno granting him immortality at the request of Velik. He had a lot of potential and was monitored closely.

He eventually became very powerful on his own and didn't need as much monitoring from Dralno or any other deities. He was wise, everyone loved him. He was quite impartial as well.

His symbols are: the snake, phoenix wings and azurites.

DYDVA

Goddess of the Moon, Water & Misfortune

Born cosmically along Xablon and Vunatis during one of the longest battles between Dralno and Aher. Her body took shape as it is now within the deep waters of the world. Her skin was pale carved with tears of blood and she had a fish tail of some sort. She wasn't like the other gods, but she was gorgeous on her own. She rivaled Aelia in many ways, from beauty to personality. She was desired by most, even Edorr found intrigue in her but never crossed any boundaries. She tried to make him, but he wouldn't budge from his oath to Aelia. He actually became repulsed by her when she tried to force herself on him.

Unfortunately, that event triggered Xablon, the god of the Sky and Mountains. He was ugly, rough, and idiotic. He came in loud and made a storm out of things when he wanted. Dydva never desired him, she hated him. Feeling embarrassment and rejection from her hateful mouth, he raped her. He made her almost unrecognizable even to her peers. They wanted to help, but Xablon was powerful and secluded them in the deepest mountain core where no one could find them. Only Aher could hear her, but he wouldn't intervene. Dydva knew of that and hated him with passion for not helping. She hated everyone for looking at her with pity when she was the Goddess of the sea, of the very essence of life.

Unfortunately, she became pregnant with two deities who would have to live through this with her. Afterall, Xablon didn't stop at once or twice. Their two kids are Ysmir, the Goddess of Peace, and Amir, the God of sleep and hypnosis. Her symbols are: the whirlpool, the fish and the waves. She is the goddess of the fishermans, often preached when long journeys await and also when the Ocean is roaring.

EDIA

Goddess of Oracles

The love daughter of Ilen and Amir, two relatively respectable deities. She was the result of a series of love affairs between these two. They were young and in love, and it resulted in the beautiful Edia.

She was strong headed, beautiful, and respected. That, unfortunately, resulted in having a similar faith to Dydva, although it was Vulnatis, God of Violence and Aggression, the culprit. She was raped the same night as Dydva, but no one knew, no one would know under her watch that Vulnatis ever touched her. When she was impregnated by Vulnatis, she rejected each one of the child, forsaken them to roam the cosmos motherless.

She gave birth to three deities:

- Musilliat (God of Hate)

- Caphihae (Goddess of the Forsaken)

- Nythie (God of Revenge)

No one truly know where these three figures come from beside Aher and Dralno. Aher in fact guided them a bit in their life, but never intervened too much. That fed on Edia's guilt and she seems to have taken a love/hate idea of Aher.

Her symbols are: crystal orbs, fountains, and the blue eye.

EDORR

God of Justice & Loyalty

Created to be the best match to Aelia, it comes to no surprise that Edorr is the most honorable of all deities in the Dralnian culture. He is one of the wisest,, if not the wisest of all Gods. He is the husband of Aelia and has always remained faithful. Even when Dydva jumped at him with the intention to seduce him. He despises that type of person and immediately rejected her. Although, still feeling bad for her unfortunate fate with Xabton and the fact that he couldn't do anything, he remained faithful to himself: he condemned Xabton action, calling for his immediate ban and he remained cold with Dydva whom he believes to be disloyal to her word.

He has two descendants with Aelia, Ilen and Zuras.

His symbols are: the balance and the open palmed.

ILENA

Goddess of Truth & Forgiveness

Born from Aelia and Edorr, it isn't a surprise to learn that their daughter is the Goddess of very noble attributes. She is well respected in the realm because she is always truthful to everyone and is very forgiven. Even the unforgivable, she finds ways to forgive, but many know that forgiving does not mean a friendship will come back. At her young age, she fell in love with Amir. She married him without the consent of her parents whom saw him as a broken individual. Turns out he betrayed her in the worst possible way, he left her to die when the

VELIK

Goddess of Time & Advancement

Velik is the offspring of Zuras, God of Enlightenment, and Ysmir, the Goddess of Peace and Nature. She is quite a romantic, very ambitious but emotionally driven. That is why she is in the heart of most infidelities and affairs. At the moment, she is tied with Xablon with a secret marriage which she believes will give her powerful children. Only, she is the least fidel individual. She has a many lovers and doesn't feel obliged to be tied down sexually.

When it comes to the world of Eiriond, she is the patron Goddess of the Valekians. She gave them a chance to advance, to surpass all the other races. She took them as an opportunity to expand her plans.

Velik's symbols are the angel's wing and the sword of time.

VUNATIS

God of War & Violence

Like his siblings, Xablon and Dydva, Vunatis was born from cosmical battle of Dralno and Aher. He is the divine manifestation of the violence that occur, the aggresion and the ugliness. He is the one that pushes all forms of domination and violence. For example, when Xablon was drunk, he planted the seed that perhaps he should claim Dydva in such way that she could not fight back nor deny it. In reality, he simply covers himself because his plane was to secretely kidnap Edia while everyone is preoccupied with saving Dydva.

He has three offsprings from his crime: Muzilliat, Caphihae, and Nythie. But he has no knowledge of them.

His symbols are: a blood drop and his warhammer.

XABTON

God of the Sky & Mountains

Alas, brother of Dydva and Vunatis. Three of the most powerful deities in the whole Dralnian culture. He is by far the strongest and the most moraless.  He is idiotic, which lead him to do a regretful gesture towards Dydva. He does feel guilt, but he doesn't seem to care much as long as he gets her. He does not actually love her, but actually desires her more than anything else. He wants her like a master with his slave. He wants her to obey him at all cost which simply doesn't roll with Dydva who is a strong leader. Also, he is quite a fool as well which is why many use him and one day it will be his end.

He has two offsprings from his rape, Ysmir and Amir.

His symbols are; the mountains, the wind and the sunshine.

YSMIR

Goddess of Peace & Nature

She was the second child of Dydva, the cutest thing ever and the oddest. It was like... chaos never bothered her. She is exactly like her brother, an introvert. Only, she would escape for weeks if not months in nature. She would roam on her own, ignoring her actual life. She simply lived day by day.

That is how she met Zuras and gave him a life lesson " Never wait for tomorrow to have fun today. After all, tomorrow might never come. "

She has one offspring with Zuras, Velik whom she cared for quite a lot. Unfortunately, she didn't exactly help her with advices or such. After all, she is one known to escape problems for her peace of mind.

Her symbols are: the blooming flower, pottery and the tree of life.

ZURAS

God of Enlightment

Intellectual, knowledgeable, and free from the curse of ignorance. Zuras was born from the alliance of Aelia to Edorr. He is the eldest child and a gold heart. He fell in love with Ysmir, mesmerized by her wisdom and ended up marrying her. But he wasn't the most loyal man to her. He cheated, quite a few times with young maidens of the worlds. He ended up fathering many great many demigods who became deities such as Petra, the God of Philosophy, freedom and unsatiation or his twin brother, Theon, God of Logic and reasoning.

Zura's symbol is the sun

LIOLA

Goddess of Creativity and Art

Liola is the goddess of creativity and art, who holds art above all other aspects of the physical and metaphysical world. Now, the definition of ‘art’ is quite a loose term to Liola. Her belief is that all art is some sort of specialized skill or knowledge. You fight with a sword? That is art. You kill someone? That is art. Liola, as a goddess, is worshipped by people that seek to travel and learn as much as they can about the unknown. The ultimate goal of most of her followers is to find some piece of art that will be extremely unique; something that they can share with others to inspire them to seek pieces of art as intricate as the one they possess. Liola has a very positive outlook on everything, no matter where she goes. She views everything as a form of art, and she cannot simply deem something ‘bad’ or ‘good’ because viewpoints are different for everyone. Liola has no moral compass most of the time, since she is not normally led in any certain direction. To her, art is her compass and that compass gets messy with where it leads. Murder and other acts of violence are forms of art, which are being expressed by people with rich emotions. Liola views everything as beautiful, including death itself. Liola doesn’t have much of a list of values, but she respects the values of others. Murder is not something she would do, since it normally violates the list of values that people have. The gripping prejudice that Liola has against others is that when someone stunts the expression of art of someone else, she becomes enraged. She holds her followers to this same standard, seeking them to be free with their ideas and allow others that same freedom.
